Description

This is a beautiful ceramic sculpture of a round flower pot of irises with a circular opening in the center. It is painted purple, white and green with glazing and openings on the sides. This ceramic is initialed by the artist Debra L. Betancourt (DLB) on the bottom of the sculpture. It is numbered SI 1107 and dated 2004. The pottery studio, Avatar, was located in Somerset County, New Jersey, until it closed permanently. It was owned and operated by Ms. Betancourt, an award-winning artist, who sadly died in 2010. The piece is sturdy yet has very intricate detail in the flower petals and leaves. It is shown from different angles to illustrate that there are no chips or cracks and it is in very good condition. The sculpture measures 6 inches tall and 5 inches wide. It is a unique item. I will pack the item very carefully to prevent breakage in shipping.
