Description
Rare Pocket Kodak Primer 102 rollfilm box camera, US 1895, with instruction booklet. The Pocket Kodak was introduced in 1895 and it was an immediate success. It was designed and manufactured for Eastman Kodak by Frank Brownell, in Rochester. The camera was leather covered wooden casing of fairly simple construction. It used 102 rollfilm (1½ x 2"), specifically created for this model. The camera looks very nice, beyond normal wear from age. It might not be working since the advance key does not screw-in (see last picture). Thank you.
